Groupon finds out how nights can be spent at the Cabaret Supper Club
What is the Cabaret Supper Club?
A restaurant, social club and entertainment venue that harks back to the roaring 1920s. Hosting diverse performers such as live jazz bands, burlesque troupes, contortionists, magicians and comedians, the venue is located on Upper Arthur Street and guarantees a decadent night out.
How about the restaurant?
The supper club combines food with theatre and music, serving guests two or three-course meals that can be categorised as Irish fusion. Menus change regularly according to seasonal produce, providing a balance of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
Who are some of the resident performers?
Miss Trudy Scrumptious is the regular hostess, and she is known to perform comedy, live vocals and abstract numbers. The Cabaret Cotton Candies are also on stage weekly, and can be found dressed in feather boas, eating fire or performing their champagne routine.
What else makes the venue unique?
The butler bell service. Bells are fitted to each booth, with diners able to summon their very own butler at the ring of a bell.
