Groupon discovers the history behind Lancaster Brewery along with its range of beers.
How did the brewery come about?
It was established in 2005 with the ethos of sourcing natural ingredients, producing high quality beer and presenting the products in a modern and stylish way.
What sort of drinks are produced?
Lancaster Red is a premium bitter with a malt dominated body, while Blonde is a golden pale ale with citrus flavours. Bottled ciders include the dry and punchy Copper, and Blush, which delivers a distinct sweetness.
How do the tours work?
Visitors see for themselves the technical side of things, observing the magic at work in fermentation vessels and liquor tanks. Tours are rounded off with a chance to sample a choice of beers, accompanied by hearty fare selected to complement the ales.
