Infused with the exotic scent of freshly ground herbs and spices, Rishi’s Indian Aroma warms up taste buds with authentic fare from a city centre location. The establishment blends the traditional and the contemporary to create a vibrant menu of richly-hued chicken, lamb, and vegetable curries accompanied by steaming bowls of basmati rice and warm from the oven naans.
Eastern enlightenment can be sought with the likes of the fragrant lamb tikka masala dressed in fresh cream and ground cashew nuts (£8.99), or perhaps the warm flavours of the Bombay aloo with potatoes, tomatoes, onions, and exotic spices (£4.99). Taste buds will also be treated to a poppadom (75p) and a chutney, while all melt-in-the-mouth morsels will be washed down with a glass of house wine (£3.50).
Reviews
Rishi’s was awarded a delicious 4.5/5 by TripAdvisor users. While some felt the service could be faster during busy periods, there were many who were eager to praise the attentive staff, though special mentions went to the scope and quality of the Indian menu.
Too many of us to go through all the dishes we had but suffice to say the tandoor items were great, the curries were fantastic and the naan, rice etc were fine accompaniments.

I had lamb kadai for main and can't recommend it enough! I'm not normally a lamb fan but this was so soft and tender and the perfect mix of spicey [sic] and gentle sweetness for me.
