With itchy feet and click-happy fingers, the snappers at Ritter Photography flitter up and down the UK, shooting in studios and on location in a mishmash of artistic ventures including commerce, fashion and portraiture photography. Shutterbugs can scurry into a class of up to eight participants, as they enroll on a four hour photography course. With their own DLSRs and preferably tripods in hand, students will use their snap-happy fingers to pick up theories of exposure and aperture, as well as lighting techniques including speed and strobe lighting combined with backdrop and model lighting. Having tackled the theoretical elements in the central Aberdeen studio, newly knowledgeable artistes will venture into the city - weather permitting - so they can lap up further photographic tidbits.
