Keeping stomachs sweet with a saliva-inducing selection of hand-picked chocolates and truffles, The Chocolate Bar is a haven for sweet-toothed dreamers. A coffee shop inside the Ellon bar takes a mouth-watering spin on classic winter warmers with hot chocolates ranging from chilli to white, accompanied by crepes and tiffen. For the really cocoa keen, chocolate evenings aim to educate and feed with the know-all of a chocolatier and a class full of chocolate eaters.

In 90 minute workshops run by Chocolat Passions founder and chocolatier, Kira Grassick, truffle fans of all ages can get to grips with the history and usefulness of that cocoa-derived ingredient and purchase any Chocolat Passions goods with 10% off. Welcomed in with a hot drink, attendees will get hints and tips on baking with chocolate and get to try amateur hands at edible artwork, marshmallow dips and chocolate tasting. A question and answer session should resolve any melting queries and on leaving budding chocolatiers can take everything they have made, as well as a tasty truffle box.
