The Hotel
With a host of classically furnished en suite rooms leading to a cluster of self-catering cottages, Traquair Arms offers guests a warm welcome and cosy spot to rest their heads. The on-site restaurant serves up traditional Scottish foods and the odd Italian bite, seasoned with home-grown herbs and made using locally and sustainably sourced ingredients where possible. Excellent food, delightful atmosphere, coal fires perfect and the choice of malts is simply fantastic and the staff are very helpful and obliging. This is a lovely hotel run by people who really care about their guests, well worth a visit (looking forward to staying once again in the the summer 2012.........).
