Giving chickens, pigs, and sprightly goats exemplary views over Bath, Bath City Farm has transformed a 37 acre site into a lively example of community husbandry. Visitors can trot around the farm to say hello to the animals, from the black hulk of Aberdeen Angus cattle to the tiny snuffle of a Kunekune pig. After distributing a bag of animal feed to the chickens, ducks, and geese, families can head to the café, where two grown-ups can sip coffee and nibble cakes, while two little ones sip on soft drinks and get all sticky from ice cream.
We took our daughter to the farm and she loved it. Its a lovely place to introduce children to animals. The staff are friendly, many are volunteers. There is a cafe and different kids clubs. Definitely worth a visit.
