The session(s)
An initial consultation and patch test will decipher which area is to be treated, setting realistic expectations for the outcome. Three sessions of ink removal using advanced Q Switch Nd:Yag equipment will then start to fade designs with short pulses of light energy. Each session will aim to target particles which will in turn help break down pigmentation of colours measuring a maximum of 4inch sq. in diameter.
Aftercare
An aloe vera gel is recommended for the first 3-4 days, followed by a sensitive moisturiser for the next week. The aloe vera will help soothe any blistering or tenderness immediately after the treatment, and the moisturiser will help prevent the skin from drying out afterwards.
