Once graduating from the seminary, birds of prey spend their lives working for the holy feather. Reach for the heavens with today's Groupon: £18 for a two hour falconry experience at the Fallowfields Falconry.
Experienced with creatures great and small, Fallowfields Falconry provide experiences full of fun, frolics and feathers within the idyllic grounds of Fallowfields Country House Hotel. The friendly staff enjoy a strong connection with their feathered charges and freely impart their passion to visitors within vistas of unending meadows and mature woodlands.
The day will begin with a handling session and a brief introduction, with guests learning about how to care for birds over sips of warming drinks and the crunch of biscuits. Having drained mugs, participants will then be led on a guided tour of the centre, meeting the glinting, deep gazes of the many different species on display. The falconer will be happy to field any questions before customers enjoy the opportunity of flying the birds for themselves (under supervision), getting up close and personal with hawks, owls and buzzards.
