The staff has been widely reviewed by guests who have found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. Although some have suggested the décor could benefit from being updated, guests are united in their views of the excellent levels of cleanliness and picturesque views over the River Teign. LateRooms reviewers gave an average score of five stars out of six, whilst Booking.com users also remarked favourably and gave a score of 8 out of 10.
Great location with wonderfull [sic] views across the river. Staff were great and went out of their way to be helpfull [sic], I requested an ironing board and iron and they brought it to our room without any fuss. Room was clean, spacious and well appointed.
