Reviews
A king-sized 94% of LateRoomers recommended The Helyar Arms, while users on Booking.com awarded the hotel a luxurious 8.3/10. Some guests thought that the service could be improved, but the rustic atmosphere and tasty food were worth the stay.
Room was comfortable and well appointed, food was excellent and I received a nice welcome on arrival. This was a great place to stay and made a change from the usual chain hotels, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

Lovely old building (amazing thick walls) in a very picturesque village with a fire in the pub in the evening. The food was excellent - everything is made on the premises. There was a varied menu and they had a range of special offers during the week to offer interest and value for money. The bedroom was well furnished and warm and there was an excellent heated towel rail in the ensuite shower room. The staff were freindly [sic] and welcoming.
