In the early days of motoring it wasn't unusual to see cars carrying oversized frisbees and picnic baskets, having been confused by the concept of parking. Learn to pull in with today's Groupon: £34 for a four hour young driver training course for 14 to 17 year olds at The Driving Centre.
Getting young hands adjusted to life at the wheel, the DSA-registered instructors at this Bath and Bristol driving centre run special courses for those not yet burdened with the responsibility of the green card. Having been operating for over 15 years, the Driving Centre instructs learner drivers in the essentials of stopping, starting and steering around badgers.
During weekends and holidays, budding motorists will learn how to use the car's essential controls, including how to change gear, the push pull steering technique and reverse bay parking. Students are advised to bring a packed lunch and prepare acceptance speeches for the finishing presentation and awarding of certificates.
