About the event
A horseman famous for his gentle interaction and smooth understanding of equine creatures, Carlos Tabernaberri will be descending on venues throughout Ireland to tame all manner of steeds. His clinics, riding lessons, and one-to-one training sessions will deal with skittish young horses, unruly adolescents, and the process of saddling up for the first time, with all of his work presented for a gaggle of spectators. As guests observe his methods and approach to pony care, Carlos will explain his theory of seeing the training ‘through the eyes of the horse’, and viewers can quiz him on stable hints and tips.
Other attractions
As the Australian-based equestrian entrepreneur works his way through his second tour of Ireland, his skills will grace three one-off venues, while working continuously from the Diamond’s Lane yard. Horse owners can place their animals in to his care for a bout of expert skills training, or embark on tutorials to keep their ponies calm and under control. While experienced stable-folk can pick up a trick or two, curious animal lovers can catch a glimpse in to a world of hooves and saddles or just get teary-eyed over velvety noses.
