Innovative chefs often hone their originality by creating pickle sorbets, crafting edible silverware, and chewing over fillets of sole. Let the other shoe drop with today’s Groupon: £9 for a three course carvery for two at The Emerald Roadhouse.
Beneath shamrock-coloured trellises and tassles of blooming vines, The Emerald Roadhouse mixes classic dishes in a light-hearted atmosphere with live entertainment and events. The recently refurbished entertainment complex houses the inviting Cleary's Restaurant, which warms customers with fireplaces, an extensive menu, and open hospitality.
Curious epicureans can start their culinary carvery with a three course carvery lunch, valid Monday to Saturday. Having whet appetities with a choice of soup, salad, or other starter, customers can then proceed to the roast. The main course features either beef, turkey or ham and comes with all the trimmings. Finally sweet teeth can be appeased with a selection from the dessert platter, which includes the likes of pavlova.
The Emerald Roadhouse received a nicely-portioned 4.5/5 rating on TripAdvisor. Reviewers raved about the excellent value for their money, the efficient service and their chosen dishes.

A large dining room, very clean, nice decor and friendly staff..3 choices for starter - veg soup, Caesar salad or tempa chicken..We chose the chicken which was 2 battered goujons [sic] with mayonnaise/sweet chilli mix dip, with some salad leaves..quite tasty..the main was your normal carvery with turkey, ham and roast beef...
