Prizing atmosphere and cuisine in equal measure, the bright, unfussy ambiance is fit for romantic meal à deux, bountifully-stuffed lunches en masse, and mimed interpretations of coq au vin. The restaurant's new management welcome customers into their bright and airy chambers to sample seafood and sautéed somethings, aswell all manner of accented je ne sais quoi.

Although users were polarized when it came to portion size, all other aspects of the restaurant received acclaim, with special mention going out to the authentic and delicious food, as well as the excellent service. Yelpers awarded Bastille an outstanding average user score of 4.5 stars out of 5, while users on TripAdvisor were just as positive, giving a score of 4 stars out of 5.
The restaurant is tastefully decorated and all of the staff are lovely - very friendly and helpful. The food though, is where this place truly excelled! The French onion soup was divine, as was the leek and potato soup du jour.
