Saunas are a great place to let off steam and sweat information out of friends. Don't spa the details with today’s Groupon: for £99 instead of up to £268, get an overnight stay for two with breakfast, VIP spa passes and a round of golf or spa treatment at Castle Dargan Hotel.
Grandiosely stood in 170 acres of mature woodlands a ten minute hop from Sligo, Castle Dargan offers sanctuary from a scrambling world with award-winning golf, luxury accommodation, and a diverse selection of wellness and relaxation therapies. The poetically composed Darren Clarke golf course, featured in Golf Digest’s list of Top Golf Courses in Ireland 2009, can be visually ravished by green-eyed guests from the extravagant spa. Finding much to wax lyrical about, Yeats dwelt on “the romances of [Castle Dargan’s] two ruined castles” and its illustrious and tempestuous history in his work.
Groupon sojourners can receive an overnight stay for two, enjoying a tasty breakfast and late check-out (2pm) for lovers of lengthy lay-ins. Groupon soakers can choose to experience the therapeutic bathing practice of balneotherapy, or a dry float relaxer spa treatment, simulating an almost weightless state for complete relaxation of joints and muscles equivalent to three hours of deep sleep, and thought particularly beneficial for pregnant women. Those more golf-orientated get to choose instead a round of golf on the award-winning 18-hole course, but both guests, golfers or nay, can soak away soreness with a VIP pass each for use of the spa, including Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
Renowned for its golf course, Castle Dargan Golf Hotel and Wellness Centre has attracted plenty of visitors. TripAdvisor golfers and non-golfers alike raved about their short relaxing stay. Out of 86 reviews, the hotel was rated 4/5.
Breakfast each morning was delicious and again the staff couldn’t do enough for you. I will definitely be back again and I have already been recommending it to friends and family since I got home.

The dinner itself was superb, the chef provided us with fine cuisine and huge portions - the service was impeccable. The ladies really enjoyed the spa treatments and we certainly had a fine day at the golf, the person in the golf shop couldn't have been more helpful.
