The Hotel
Building bridges with four star acclaim, the County Derry castle’s 15th century facade contains lavish suites and rooms bedecked in Laura Ashley textiles, while the view beyond stretches over green Irish pastures, looking wistfully out to the surrounding Sperrin mountains. The Moloko restaurant uses a selection of local produce and was awarded Best Restaurant 2012 by Local Women Magazine.

Groupon Recommends
Having taken in the majestic grounds of the castle itself, stroll through the town to Dungiven priory and peer over the edge of the 200ft precipice that plunges down to the River Roe. For a stroll into the countryside, set a hiking course to Altaheglish Reservoir, a mountain lake surrounded by forest. Staying closer to the castle, explore the traditional market town itself.

Stayed here for two nights. Beautiful hotel with amazing views. The staff are fantastic nothing is a hassle for them. We dined in the restaurant both nights. The food is good. I would say simple food cooked extremely well. – DelzerDublin_Ireland, TripAdvisor, May 2012
After a friendly greeting on arrival we went up to our room, which was well equipped and beautifully furnished, as well as having a view over the Sperrins (as all the rooms do). The food, both for evening meal and breakfast were excellent. We had some of the best steaks we've ever had on a lovely relaxing evening. There's also a nice area with comfy sofas to relax on with a drink after your meal ... – Comrade_t, TripAdvisor, Mar 2012
