Making waves on the shores of Lough Foyle, this purpose-built hovercraft circuit complements its nifty Eagle 447 vehicles with the lush surrounds of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Foylehov team extends its outdoorsy interests to offer visitors adventurous pursuits which range from swift archery to high-tech laser combat. Keeping active seven days a week, the centre also provides a selection of teas, coffees, soft drinks, and ice creams to help participants of all ages refuel.

Revved up for a 30 minute session, clients can don the supplied safety gear before attending a nifty briefing to help explain the finer details of hovercraft-captaining. This fresh-water course will put skills to the test with tricky hairpin bends, while the steering mechanism itself is easily navigable and requires little mastering. Travelling at speeds of up to 40mph, water-racers can whizz around up to 10 laps of this scenic estuary circuit before returning to shore.
