The Hotel
Settled in the centre of Ballybofey, the family-run establishment is a modern hotel with state-of-the-art facilities, fine dining, and elegant decor. The venue boasts an impressive garden restaurant, where meals are served in view of the great outdoors, while the Ballybofey Bistro serves snacks and drinks within a country tavern-style interior. A steam room, sauna, and Jacuzzi heat up the spa, while a fitness suite and 22 metre swimming pool provide spacious exercise facilities.

The Stay
Whisking partners into their arms, guests can waltz into a en suite room for a Valentine's weekend and enjoy a hamper containing chocolates, flower petals, and bath oils to tickle their fancy. An extra night’s stay on the Sunday can be enjoyed for free if pairs book a meal for that evening in the restaurant prior to their arrival.

The sauna and sunlit swimming pool can also be splashed about in, and, venturing outside, guests can take a wander along the banks of the river Finn or through picturesque trails in the Drumboe woods.

Reviews
Jackson’s Hotel has garnered many a fine review from those who enjoyed their stay. While visitors tended to appreciate the modern rooms more so than the traditional ones, reviews are on the whole very positive, and celebrate the quality of accommodation and hearty food.
Visited Jackson's early in the year and as it was such an enjoyable time for my friends and I, we promised ourselves to return and we made it back 2 weeks ago for again a long weekend. The hotel did not disappoint with good food and beautiful rooms and the service and general friendliness made it special. Thanks to all the staff - we will be back.

Me, my mother and my 3 children stayed in Jackson's in Dec 2011. We found the hotel very comfortable, the staff were more then [sic] accommodating and my children felt very special due to the extra effort the staff made in tending to their every request.... We ate in the bistro on both nights and although the menu was limited had enough to keep each of us happy.
