If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen or take a glug of milk after every mouthful. Keep your culinary cool with today’s Groupon: £12 for a two course Indian meal for two with rice or naan each at The Royal Bengal.
Well-seasoned with over four decades of culinary expertise, The Royal Bengal is a recently renovated Indian restaurant serving up traditional offerings from the far corners of the sub-continent. The establishment is lined with clean-cut white interiors and soft blue lighting, while tabletops are graced with the likes of golden brown pakoras, a vibrant parade of curry sauces, and steaming bowls of basmati rice.
Planting the culinary seed, starters could include the nargis kebab – the sub-continental take on the humble Scotch egg (£3.95) – or crispy onion bhajis (£2.95). Diners could then opt for the mellow flavours of the lamb pasanda dressed in almonds, cream, and coconut (£8.95) or the house special tawa that mixes chicken and beef with green herbs, peppers, and onions in a slightly hotter sauce (£8.95). Vegetarians have a range of classic curry options, including the paneer tikka masala: Indian cheese cooked in a creamy sauce (£6.75). The curry dish chosen can either nestle on top of a fluffy mound of rice (up to £2.50) or be mopped up with a naan bread (up to £2.50).

Reviews
The Royal Bengal receives a favourable 4/5 stars from Qypers, and a regal 4.5/5 from TripAdvisors. Diners commend the quality and authenticity of dishes, as well as the attentive service.
I must say that they have done a nice job on the decor & the food was absolutely beautiful & would have no problems with recommending the restaurant to anyone. We will definitely be going back when we get chance.

Very friendly restaurant, the food is fantastic and the place is warm and welcoming. It is now the only Indian restaurant I use in Tamworth. The staff are very friendly and make you feel like they have known you for years, try it once and you will go back again and again.
