A short way from the hustle and bustle of Birmingham’s city centre sits Platinum Hair & Beauty, a ladies-only salon that puts barnets and bodies in the limelight. Open six days a week, the establishment revives dreary locks with jazzy cuts, vibrant colours, and bouncy blow dries, as well as offering a full range of pampering services.
During the two and a half hour appointment, tresses will be shaded with either a full head of highlights (£50) or a full head of colour (£35), leaving them gleaming with glossy hues. Strands will then be shampooed and coated in a nourishing conditioning treatment, while scalps are soothed with a head massage (£45). Once squeaky-clean and sleek, hair will be snipped and styled into a brand new ‘do with a cut and blow dry (£18).
