Taking wing with a family of falcons, hawks, and owls, S and D Falconry offers a range of avian experiences for high-flying customers seven days a week. A chirping menu of falconry services and owl walking tours mixes with unique bird photography opportunities, and the feathered friends can even become the best man as an owl ring bearer for weddings. S&D Falconry also cater to companies and schools, with educational talks for budding ornithologists.
S and D Falconry will lead novice bird enthusiasts through around two and a half hours of falconry lessons underneath the sun-dappled leaves of Stratford Manor. Handling birds of prey such as Egan the peregrine falcon and Alfie the great horned owl, customers will learn how to fly these trained birds with practical instruction under close supervision.
While yet to be widely reviewed, S&D Falconry has received highly favourable write-ups from two TripAdvisors, who praise the up-close encounters with a variety of birds, and well-organised staff.
It was great to see the owners be so passionate and knowledgable [sic] about their birds of prey, they really did care about them. It's a fantasic [sic] experience holding a piece of food and watching the bird fly towards you and land on your gloved hand …
