Bearing the British Horse Society's rosette of approval, Holly Equestrian Centre has been running, trotting, cantering and galloping since 1976. The family-run centre hosts horses for children and adults of all abilities, who may also roam on two legs around the indoor school, ménage, and stable blocks during lessons and pony days. The school gets riders back in the saddle for hacks, camps, and birthday parties, and provides a livery service for horses who need a temporary home. 
Experienced instructors will take the reins during two riding lessons for individuals or groups, each beginning with an introduction to all things equine. Available during the week from 10am-3pm, private lessons will last 30 minutes each, while group lessons take one hour and can be trotted out at weekends. Classes are tailored to individual abilities and riding hats are provided.
