Military tanks are made of incredibly strong materials, make distinctive tracks in the mud, and are best used for detaining goldfish that have gone AWOL. Be submerged in adventure with today's Groupon from Tank Mania. Choose from the following options:
• £34 for two hour tank riding experience for one including full combat kit, army radio microphones, and camouflage (62% off)• £59 for a two hour tank riding experience for two including full combat kit, army radio microphones, and camouflage (67% off)
Tearing through the Derbyshire countryside, Tank Mania offers an array of armoured vehicles to navigate the humps, bumps, dips, and pits of Measham Lodge Farm. Vehicles in Tank Mania's fleet of plated powerhouses include an AFV433 Abbot with mounted gun, a Hagglund BV206, and miniature tanks for a pint-sized thrill ride. Corporate, individual driving, and family days, plus stag and hen dos are available for those seeking an alternative and adrenaline filled experience.
Aspiring commandos will be briefed by a trained instructor before gearing up with combat gear, a radio microphone, and camouflage paint to complete the transformation into a hardened trooper. Adventurers will be driven around the track by an ex-soldier, first taking a spin in a Hagglund before experiencing a bumpy ride in an AFV 432. Tank farers will then be given a ride around the local villages for approximately 10 miles in an AFV 432 before returning to the site for debriefing.
