Fusing the culinary traditions of India with the creativity of modern fine dining, The Delhi Restaurant offers a menu of old favourites presented with a unique gastronomic twist. The dining experience is key at this innovative eatery, with each dish artistically presented and constructed using Fair Trade ingredients where possible.
Kicking things off with a bang, diners may wish to sample the fiery flavours of the chilli chicken kebab, or indulge in the long-standing favourite of vegetable pakoras (both £2.95). Awakened appetites can be sated by lamb rezalah, cooked with chillies, onions, red peppers and finished with a hot sauce (£5.50), or the fragrant vegetable balti (£5.25). Whatever the choice, all dishes come with a coffee or ice cream each.

The Delhi in Solihull town centre looks like an ordinary takeaway place, and only accommodates around 10 diners upstairs. But the quality of the food is first-rate and the service is excellent. I've been a number of times, sitting in mostly, and it's a very good Indian restaurant with an extensive menu.
