Pleasing palates with twin North Indian and English menus, The Horseshoe leads visitors across carpet-strewn wooden floors to arrive at bar or dining table. The hospitable haven is decked out in cool earth tones and serves up an array of fusion dishes, alongside wine and cocktails. Options are available for both vegetarians and meat-eaters, and the venue’s banqueting suite caters for up to 150 people amid elaborately-dressed tables.
Chefs will create starters, mains, and desserts for two or four diners, served up with two nibblicious poppadoms apiece (£1 each). Visitors can choose from first courses such as paneer tikka, featuring cottage cheese, tomato, capsicum, and onion (£7), or mahi tikka ajwaini, a fish fillet marinated with ajwain and yoghurt (£8). Mains include murg makhan wala, charcoal-grilled chicken cooked in smooth tomato gravy (£10), and mirch baingan ka salan, baby aubergine and green chillies in coriander peanut gravy (£7). For dessert, groups can enjoy options such as a choice of ice cream or dumplings (£4). For the full menu, click here.
Reviews
Chilli and Spice at The Horseshoe Bar may still be awaiting widespread feedback, but it has received a spicy 7.9/10 from Toptable users, along with an encouraging 5/5 from initial TripAdvisor comments. Diners praised the quality of the Indian fusion cuisine and the attentive service.
I have eaten the finest Indian food here on a number of occasions over the past year. Highly recommended king prawns and fantastic curries. Pleasant welcoming staff and easy to park.

My husband and I went to Chilli & Spice in Birmingham last night. The service was good and friendly. Food was tasty, especially the lamb chops starter, delicious. A very nice evening.
