Raising bodies to new physical peaks through outdoor boot camp training, Forest Fit Club gets muscles moving amongst the fresh air and scenic settings of Meyrick Park, Bournemouth and Moyles Court, Ringwood. The club operates under the mantra that training in the great outdoors is great for both health and morale, and helps participants smash through targets with encouragement and tailored exercise. Each class is single sex, and all are designed to suit the fitness levels of the participants.
Classes span from bright and early at 6.30am to after work sessions at 6pm. Ensigns can attend multiple classes per week, with adrenaline pumping regimes focussing on cardio workouts that incorporate both upper and lower body resistance work. Core stability training is also on the cards, while nutritional guidance is provided to help avoid a moment on the lips ending up as a lifetime on the hips.
