This casual fine dining restaurant boasts a seasonal, locally sourced menu where ingredients are often sourced from Dorset farmers and producers. The restaurant provides an elegant space for tucking into dishes like Dorset chicken and locally-caught sea bass. As an accompaniment to the food, or before sitting down, enjoy one of Bramble's range of cocktails from a drinks list which has a few strings to its elegantly turned-out bow. There is a global selection of wines and an imaginative cocktail menu featuring well-layered sprigs of mint, splashes of spirit and twists of fizz.
Diners will be greeted by U-Mix-trained staff before being presented with the enviable dilemma of choosing two courses from the extensive a la carte menu. Starters offer a range of vegetarian and meaty flavours, such as warm Capricorn goat’s cheese with pickled beetroots and fresh spinach (£7.50), and pan-fried calamari, served with harrisa sauce and salad (£7). Progressing onto main dishes, there is an abundance of local wildlife to be enjoyed with the likes of locally caught sea bass with colcannon potatoes and hollandaise sauce (£18.50); and pan-roasted breast of free range Dorset chicken with New Forest mung bean cassoulette (£16.50) to be savoured. The plate's offerings will be accompanied by a champagne cocktail to add a dash of sparkle to culinary proceedings.
