Like a misguided clapper on a flagpole in winter, fusion food results from curiosity and a lack of ice lollies. Appease inquisitive tastes with today's Groupon from INDIGO Bistro . Choose from the following options:
• £19 for a two course meal for two with a glass of wine each (Up to 56% off)• £38 for a two course meal for four with a glass of wine each (Up to 56% off)
Basking in the green umbra of the New Forest, INDIGO Bistro offers a unique Anglo-Indian take on Asian cuisine, just a short gallivant from Bournemouth. With a monochrome interior, bare brick walls, and ambient, coloured lighting, the internal decor synthesises a classically British aesthetic with an Eastern atmosphere.

Casting a visual net over the menu, diners can begin by choosing a starter from the taste bud tempting selection that includes massala spiced lamb chops or Thai fishcakes (£4.90). Skipping along to the main event, bread baskets shall be bathed in a culinary bounty, with options such as mixed bean and aubergine curry (£12.90) and chilli massala with a choice of accompaniments (£7.90). Tagging along for the ride, the small glass of house wine will serve to wash down the stomach-cuddling treats.
Reviews
Though yet to be widely reviewed, INDIGO Bistro was awarded a taste bud tingling 5/5 by initial TripAdvisor and Qype reviewers. Diners gave special attention to the quality of the fusion cuisine, the friendly staff, and the restaurant’s modern decor.
Indian food with a difference - think they bill it as 'Anglo-Indian' and this seems to be a good description. Friendly service. Nice ambience both upstairs and downstairs.

Great restaurant - fusion cuisine, fresh ingredients, stylish, with an upstairs - where most of the tables are, a ground floor and a smart basement for small groups. I've been eating here for several years. Just splendid.
