Rousing the senses with bubbling mozzarella and lashings of olive oil, Piccola Venezia is a traditional Italian trattoria laden with creamy plates of pasta, freshly-baked pizza pies, and aromatic meat and seafood dishes. Taking centre stage, culinary performances will open with the soup of the day served with homemade bread (£4.55), the mozzarella, tomato, and rocket salad dressed with shavings of Parmesan (£5.50), or a portion of garlic bread (£2.75). Three-act dinners will then play out with a freshly-prepared pizza pie, such as the Capricciosa, topped with ham, artichokes, mushrooms, and olives (£7.95), or may take a twist with the likes of the seafood linguine in a tomato or white wine sauce (£13.50), or the rigatoni 4 formaggi, layered with brie, mozzarella, gorgonzola, and parmesan (£8.40). The culinary drama will achieve a sweet ending with a homemade dessert of the day (£4.50), with choices such as tiramisu and cheesecake.

We were looking for somwhere to eat on a bank holiday Monday. Came across this small resturant, got a warm welcome, nice olives & dough balls, whilst we waited for our food, freshly cooked. Really enjoyed the evening. Reasonalbe prices [sic].
