Max. 10 people per tank. Upgrades available to drive the tank for £30, or £25 for a more extreme track (including a 6ft deep swamp). Must be 14 or older to drive the tank. Splattering mud over 200 acres, Ultimate Tracks plays host to military themed days out with their fleet of modified vehicles in the woods of Clayton. Their armoured personnel carriers provide paintballing games to corporate jollies and scour all manner of woodland from rock crawls to uphill climbs as well as steering through the depth of muggy bog land. House in their private ‘Murphy’s Base’, the centre is also kitted out with a clubhouse and refreshments to cater for all sorts of jaunts.
Handing over the army-clad safety gear, the tank driver will talk riders through a 15 minute safety induction before leading the group into the armoured realms of the FV 432 or FV 434. Passengers can then hold on tight as the tracked vehicle speeds off through the lumps and bumps of the terrain for 30 minutes, with the optional upgrade to navigate a 6ft deep swamp for £25, or have a go a driving the tank for £30 per person.
