There has long been a connection between food and creative writing, ever since an ingenious chef first put penne to paper. Have a spell of Italian cuisine with today's Groupon from Joe Rigatoni. Choose from the following options:

Striving to serve up a wide range of Italian dishes that ooze authenticity, Joe Rigatoni salutes traditional gastronomy through ovens full of pizzas, meats, and richly-flavoured pastas. Sourcing as much local produce as possible, their ever changing choice of specials set out to stun with a variety of fish and seafood dishes including mussels, sea bass, and monkfish. Housed in a historic building covering three floors, Joe Rigatoni invites diners to enjoy their meals within stylish surrounds of marble interiors, and dark mahogany furniture.
Setting tongues wagging with an extensive menu, starters may take the shape of the tagliata di manzo (£8.90) where stripped beef is sautéed with garlic and rosemary and served with a rocket salad, or maybe fresh calamari and deep fried king prawns served with tartare sauce (£7.55). Making a swift move over to the mains, groups can enjoy a roasted breast of duck served on a bed of sweet potato mash, drizzled in an orange, redcurrant, and honey sauce (£16.95) For something a little more traditional, the risotto al funghi is cooked with mixed mushrooms, white wine, sweet onions and a dash of saffron (£11.95). Pizzas are also on offer, ranging from the Margherita (£7.90) to a build your own (toppings from 95p per topping). For the full menu, click here.
Reviews
Joe Rigatoni was rated a mouth watering 4/5 by both TripAdvisors and Google users. Reviewers were keen to praise the restaurant’s atmosphere and the quality of the Italian cuisine on offer.
Great food, and great service. I sat facing the open kitchen, so obviously there is nothing there that they want to hide from us customers. The quite large restaurant is very clean and comfortable, no problems here. The food is excellent, good sized portions, tastes as good as it looks.

We visit Joe Rigatoni's quite regularly and always enjoy it, the choice of food is everything from pasta/pizza to gourmet. The kitchens are on show so you can watch the chefs cooking your meal whilst you nibble on the complementary bread and roasted peppers. All the staff are very happy and this reflects in the excellent attentive service.
