In the heart of Halifax, Design House Restaurant is a Michelin-recommended eatery, delicately garnished with modern European fare. The restaurant keeps things contemporary with cream decor and dark wooden furnishings, satisfying taste buds with the likes of slow braised beef, rack of lamb, and olive oil-poached salmon, as well as freshly-prepared vegetarian offerings. The establishment also hosts regular events for charitable foundations, big or small.
The parade of European flavours could begin with mini duck confit with blueberry and potato Scotch pancakes, crispy wontons, and sweet and sour soup; or beetroot ravioli with rocket salad, chilli, and parmesan foam. Main events could include the braised belly pork with kale, red onion, and raisins; or the slow braised rand of beef served with pressed Boulangere potatoes and bacon and mushroom jus. A glass of house wine each will be on-hand to wash down all mouth-watering morsels with ease.

Staff very good and food is excellent, have been there about 4 times and not had a bad meal. Would recommend for couples or group of friends.
