Arctic eateries are filled with the moves of burr-less dancers, who use their frill-covered moves to keep warm. Enjoy taste with a kick with today’s Groupon: £18 for a burlesque and cabaret show with three course meal and glass of bubbly at Proud Cabaret Brighton.
The historic setting of the Proud Ballroom glitters with glamour and decadence, recently lavishly refurbished by
designer, Danielle Proud, hosts dazzling burlesque entertainment to match. An off-shoot of London's famed Proud Galleries, the supper club approach to evenings out offers dining, cabaret, and music hall performances, all inspired by the tassel-shimmying cabaret. The restaurant is as much a part of the night as the entertainment, and the head chef aims to use locally sourced produce to create the menu of classy classics that goes down a treat with a wine from the select list.
Diners can sink teeth into a three course meal from the à la carte menu, selecting from such set pieces as chicken ballatine stuffed with wild mushrooms on wilted spinach, or roast butternut squash and asparagus gnocchi. Starters and desserts offer the savoury and sweet delights to bookend the main course, and the entertainment, whether dancing, burlesque or music, offers the cherry on top of the cake of experience.

Reviews
Proud Cabaret Brighton rates a sultry 5/5 stars on Qype. Reviewers rated their glam trysts according to the dishes, the performances and the stunning decor.
The food was excellent and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our cocktails did take a while to get to us, but it was well worth the wait as they were divine! After dinner we had a dance and it really was the best night out we’ve had in a long time. I would recommend this Brighton gem!

The meal was great. The tomato soup was really good and came with a cheese mousse mmm. For mains had the roast chicken with potatoes and chocolate fondant for dessert. All in all the portions were good and of really good quality. The venue itself was gorgeous and unusual. Big mirrors, funky chairs at the tables and some big leather seats and of course the ceiling was stunning.
