The BHPA registered aviation experts at Air Adventure have been training pupils to spread their wings above enchanting rural Sussex for over 15 years. With well-practised techniques, they now avoid the occupational hazards experienced by distant cousin Icarus, gliding over the natural beauty spots of Devil's Dyke, Caburn, and Bo Peep. The low student-to-instructor ratios mixed with one-to-one tuition provide an ideal basis for learning. Suitable for all abilities, fledling aeronauts and veteran teredactals alike can defy nature in confidence, cruising the skies with trained pilots.
From 10am-3.30pm, learners can lift off into the into the realm of the birds and bees with a full day paragliding taster. The day will begin with a one hour administration brief from a qualified BHPA instructor covering all safety aspects and weather conditions. Having explained how the wing flies with take-off and landing procedures, pupils are safety-geared up ready for launch. A few last minute pre-flight safety checks, wings inflated, and its up, up and away learning to fly on the beautiful South Downs.
