In Slinfold Village, ten minutes from Horsham, the hotel is close to several picturesque walks between the undulating North and South Downs. Furthermore, Random Hall challenges haphazard golfers with four recommended courses within ten minutes’ drive, the closest being Slinfold Park Golf & Country Club which has 18 holes.

Setting bags down in a modern double or twin room, guests can put their feet up to enjoy a ton of facilities including Wi-Fi, a TV, tea and coffee, and a trouser press. In the evening, guests can enjoy a starter and main or a main and dessert course each from the seasonal dinner menu, which can be feasted on in the traditional historic farmhouse restaurant. Random Hall Hotel has received some highly encouraging reviews, and 90% of Late Roomers would stay again and recommend the hotel to others. Whilst some visitors found the décor dated, visitor write-ups are overall very positive, heaping praise on the accommodating service and calming atmosphere.

The Random Hall Hotel is a late 16th-century building which, though much altered, has preserved a lot of its character and original features. Our room had old wooden beams and a four-poster bed; the woodwork made the lighting dim, but there was loads of atmosphere; and the bathroom was very up-to-date. We ate one night in the restaurant, where residents get a special rate, and the food was superb. The staff could not have been more friendly or more helpful. We were staying for a wedding nearby, and when there was a complication over the arrangements we had made to have a lift to the wedding venue, they did everything they could to help. All in all, thoroughly recommended. The room rate is good value for a hotel with such character. Just one thing to mention - mobile phone reception can be difficult.

We had great four poster medieval feel room with huge modern shower - not sure they are all like this so check - and got a good dinner, breakfast, and a round of golf package. Played (at) Slinford up the road (literally couple of hundred yards) which was a great course with some interesting shots and features including an island tee… The breakfast was excellent. It is quiet - so if you want a happening bar, it won’t suit you, this is quiet, nice sofas, alcoves etc. Mobile signal patchy in some rooms so if this is critical for you, check...We stayed two nigths [sic] and enjoyed it, would go again..
