The team at Segway Unleashed specialise in the modern and intuitive pieces of technology which are the latest things since a pair of human legs to get around in while running up to 24 miles on electricity with zero emissions. The woodland area designed specifically for the Segway challenge consists of trees, bumps, sweeping corners and mini obstacles for everyone to enjoy from ages 12 and up as their double wheeled machines reach up to 12mph.
Separated into three fun packed zones, the Segway challenge will have riders gliding through the air for up to an hour. After helmets have been donned, the session kicks off with a health and safety briefing, learning the basics of mounting and dismounting as well as controlling how to move, stop, reverse, turn accelerate and slalom. Next, segwayers are ready to hit the woodland zone where they will negotiate bumps, rough terrain and master the hairpin turn. Finally, adventurists and their two wheeled friends will set about some friendly group competition in an against the clock flat field race. In true rally style, riders will have to overcome obstacles, follow directional arrows and find out who is to become the speediest Segway rider.
