Go karting is by far the most successful of miniature sports, whizzing ahead of crazy golf, ping pong and table rugby. Move on from tiddlywinks with today’s Groupon: £16.25 for two 15 minute go karting sessions at the new TeamSport track in Brighton.

With its brand new Brighton track sporting multi levels, a tunnel and top speeds of 40 mph, TeamSport Indoor Karting is expanding its motorised empire. The speed enthusiasts have been laying down tracks and waving chequered victory flags since 1990, appeasing the love of burning rubber and Formula 1 flashes at ten racing centres across the UK. With 450 metres of flat out straights, hairpin bends and wiggly bits, the track keeps karters on their toes, and serves as a great place to spot freely roaming herds of 200cc Biz machines in their most natural of habitats.

Beginning their racing career with a swift briefing and kit out, motor masters can attack the track in two 15 minute sessions of whipping around the track. Adrenaline fuelled zooming puts wheel control skills to the test, as competition gets fierce with up to 11 track mates and rivals. Racewear, equipment and insurance is included, and as lap times are recorded by swanky timing systems, drivers are presented with a race report for accurate bragging rights and appropriate levels of gloating.
