About The Event
Proudly flying the flag for patriotism, Best of British Show celebrates all that is great about Britain, with a series of manufacturing, musical and foodie displays of prowess, held in the heart of the Cotswolds. Entertainment is provided by a series of gravity-defying aerobatics, courtesy of the Breitling Wingwalkers and the elite RAF Red Arrows, as well as an air show that includes legendary planes such as the iconic World War II Lancaster bomber, Hurricane and Spitfire. Petrol-headed patrons are catered for with a display of classic and historic automobiles, from war machines to Mini Coopers and local bands will provide a musical backdrop to the festivities. With trade stands, face-painting and plenty of animal antics, including lamb racing, a dog show and petting zoo, there is something to please big Brits and little ’uns alike.
The Venue
Congregating at Cotswold Airport from 9am, pairs or families of two adults and two children can take part in the big bank holiday celebration, witnessing a Silver Stars parachute show before they go to the arena see some Lurcher racing, sneak a peek at some classic motors, or listen to one of the bands in the Stage area while sipping on a drink from the trade stands. The air of celebration will be enhanced by events such as face-painting and a ‘lamb national’ race, while the overhead spectacle wows the crowds.
