The Campsite
Pitched among leafy enclaves, the camping arm of The Hollybush Inn sits in a green field margin at the inn’s backdoor. Split between woodland dens and open space lawns, the campsite has spots for tents of all shapes and sizes and hard-standing space for caravans. Toilets and shower blocks fill up the watery facilities with designated fire pits for cooking creations. 
The Canoeing
Launching onto the River Wye, those opting for the canoe hire option can potter about on the river with 4.5 hours to get to grips with the paddles. The 8 mile route takes around four to four and a half hours with a pick-up at the final destination to take paddlers back to the campsite in around a 15 minute drive. A safety brief, lifejackets, and other necessary equipment are included with both options and water-skimmers can select their vessels from a choice of open-deck Canadian canoe or one or two person kayaks.
The Stay

• Canoe hire option is for approx. 4.5 hours with transport available back to campsite at the end
• Two-day canoe hire option follows river for towards Whitney-on-Wye and beyond, with transport available back to the Hollybush Inn at the end of the second day, times to be arranged on booking, as well as campsites

Train: Hereford train station is around 25 miles from the campsite, reachable in a 40 minute drive.
