Home-cooked fare and globe-trotting tipples are the order of the day for the Winford Arms, a 19th century public house sitting against a backdrop of the rolling British countryside. Diners can sink their teeth into culinary classics in the shape of hearty pies, battered fish and chips, and creamy pasta dishes, while little ones can keep themselves entertained in the outdoor play area. 
The first bite could come from the classic prawn cocktail topped with Marie Rose sauce served on a bed of crispy lettuce (£5.15) or the feta and pesto croquettes (£4.95), before moving aside for the pièce de résistance.
