Resplendent on Bristol’s historic cobbled streets, Byzantium offers up its treasure chest of Mediterranean delights from its converted nineteenth century brick warehouse with grand marble staircases and opulent décor. The carefully crafted European food employs a feast of fine local and regional produce, selected according to the earth’s eternal revolution around the sun and is served with views of St. Mary Redcliffe church. Banishing bland dining experiences they command a cacophony of entertainment within their exotic restaurant, including belly dancers, magicians and circus skills specialists to enrapture diners 'til the early hours.
Groupon taste buds will be set a-tingling with a choice of classic cocktail and pre starter of crusty home-baked bread and glistening dish of olives before cartwheeling into the vibrant portions of Mediterranean flavours with main courses, which include pan fried scallops, broad bean fricassee, spring leaves with lemon oil, and confit duck leg, Asian slaw, black rice vinegar reduction. Dessert will comprise of Byzantium’s speciality lantern which contains six small portions of dessert, from classic black forest gateaux to the creative parmesan gelato with white onion chutney, finished with a cup of fresh coffee.
