A picture paints a thousand words, but re-writing the dictionary in image form could get tiresome in a flash. Get expressive with today’s Groupon: £35 for a three and a half hour DSLR photography course at Frui.
Through photography, drawing, and art-appreciation courses, the knowledgeable team at Frui offer new cultural experiences to novices and the artistically initiated alike. The course-leaders use field experience to sharpen their pencils and remove their lens caps, creating tailored holidays abroad and small-scale shenanigans out and about in cities around the UK. As like-minded artsy folk get together to engage their creative juices, the tuition takes a laid back, jargon free form, with classes covering anything from painting to innovative baking.
The three and a half hour course will take place on location around the bridges, dock, and sites of Bristol. The course covers the basics of DSLR clickers, including exposure, ISO, aperture and shutter speeds, as groups of up to 12 get to grips with their immortalising machinery. An introduction to the works of master photographers, plus some handy worksheets, will help progress along the path to perfecting composition skills and camera confidence.
