Boasting a number of European Tour players among his list of former students, Scott Thompson has been mastering the white orb for the past 15 years and now tees up golfers of all levels with a range of coaching options. Scott and his team make use of numerous innovative training gadgets such as Explanar, which helps players improve their shot power and accuracy by working them through their optimum swing plane. Based at Bleadon Hill Golf Course, the coaches also have access to a sprawling driving range, allowing students to perfect their strokes.
The first of the two 30-minute lessons will focus on improving the swing and will use Explanar to help clients build in muscle memory and remember the ideal line for a straight and true connection. The second lesson will concentrate on the short game, ensuring good work off the tee isn’t undone closer to the green. A basket of 100 balls is also included so skills can be fine-tuned out on the driving range.
