Caves have many uses, providing a roaming place for adventurous hikers, a home for sleeping bats and a hideout for late night sneaky snacking activity. Get down to business with today’s Groupon: £24 instead of £49 for a one day family pass to visit Wookey Hole Caves.
Proving that grottos are for life, not just for Christmas, Wookey Hole Caves invites adventurous men, women and children to put on their subterranean spectacles for year-round exploratory escapades around the expansive valley and mill. Newly restored and improved, the Wookey elite provide a feast for the eyes and ears, encouraging voyagers to venture back 50,000 years when it is thought the caves were first inhabited by man. Travellers can explore the ancient plentitude of caves as they blaze a trail around the hyena’s den, witch’s kitchen, witch's parlour and cathedral cave.
Prehistoric Groupon pioneers can grab their families and wander into the wild, meeting dastardly dinosaurs, bewitching witches and fantastical fairies along the way. With allures to suit nymphs and raptors alike, guests can spend a day exploring cavernous realms of attractions, before relaxing at the mill, in the on-site restaurant or enjoying some cave-aged cheese. Enter the park and let the imagination roam free with a whole host of adventurous attractions including:
• Wookey Hole Circus Show
• Valley of the Dinosaurs
• Pirate Island Adventure Golf
• Cave Aged Cheese
• Magic Mirror Maze
• Pirates of the River Axe
• Handmade Paper Mill
• Fairy Garden
• Cave Museum
• Wookey Hole Witch
• Monster Mill
• …and many more
The Wookey Hole Caves gathered a playful 5/5 stars from Qypers. Families said there was something to be found for all ages, but thought the caves were a bit difficult for pushchairs and some prices may seem a bit dear.
Our boys liked the play areas, especially the soft ball air cannons, but it would have been better value to go to a play barn. The mirror maze was also a hit. The circus show however was fantastic and redeemed the day. It is funny, fast paced and far better than the 'real' circus that visits our home town.

It was well worth going and non of us were dissapointed. (sic) There was something there for everyone, adult or child and especially for the young at heart and with a good sense of humour! I was a bit scared about walking around the caves but it was a really interesting tour.
