I recently took some friends to the Racehorse for lunch and our food was served quickly; tasted superb and the service was excellent. Will definately [sic] be eating at The Racehorse again.

We went with friends for Sunday lunch and were greeted by the friendly staff, the lovely log fire was a very pleasant welcome in this cold weather. We all chose something different. The whitebait starter was fresh and plentyful [sic]. The venison was superbly cooked and very flavoursome; the Sunday roast beef was deliciously tender as was the roast turkey; and the fillet steak was to die for, all served with plenty of freshly cooked vegetables, in fact more than we could finish. The deserts were freshly made and we tried the chocolate orange tarte [sic] which nicely rounded off the meal.
