Riding high since 1957, Grange Trekking offers a wide range of activities for enthusiastic equestrians who want to explore Cardiff's stunning surrounds on horseback. The school specialises in trekking adventures which can last for half a day, a full day, and whole weeks, each of them combining riding and the taking in of countryside sights. As the school caters for both adults and kids, everyone can get involved in a trot and a canter before galloping off into the sunset.
The first hour will act as an introduction to riding, ensuring students get to grips with the basics. Budding canterers can then mount their horse and take off for an hour of scenic trekking. The route will take riders through heather covered mountain tops and past stunning waterfalls before stopping off at a variety of reservoirs and some of Mother Nature’s very own beauty spots. All horses and helmets are provided, meaning that riders need only bring a bucket full of yays and neighs.
