A family-run restaurant, Gios is proudly one of the longest-established restaurants in Cardiff. Their scrolling menu offers a myriad of Mediterranean morsels, with the occasional familial vignette of a recipe from the founder Giovanni's madre, attracting celebrity diners such as Tom Jones. As well as the popular deli restaurant, the building is also home to Rooms @ Gios, a large capacity venue for private parties, product launches, and clandestine cannelloni conventions. Located in the city centre, Gios is just a spaghetti-like wiggle away from the new St David's shopping centre, has parking and taxi ranks nearby, and is within easy reach of many major hotels and the Millennium Stadium.

The staff are really helpful and friendly and so welcoming - I feel it is time to go back already because I enjoy it so much. A really great family run place and the owner did us the courtesy of sitting and sharing a drink with us - a remarkable lady committed to ensuring her guests have a really good experience.
