About the event
Transforming Walton Hall into a bunting-clad feast for all taste buds, The Great British Food Festival will aim to display the best in homegrown grub during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The two day foodie fete will feature the flavourful fare of a plethora of stalls, where locally soured meats and produce aim to fill up plate after plate, alongside a giant jubilant picnic. Underneath marquees lined with red, white, and blue decor, picnicking patrons will get the opportunity to watch a cake-off competition with a complimentary hot drink in hand.
Other attractions
In addition to the range of gourmand treats, the 30 acre estate has a children’s zoo and will host a range of family-friendly activities during the weekend festival including a balloon race and arcade stalls. After perusing the range of craft products inside the hall, customers can take to the great outdoors to listen to live summertime tunes playing from the grandstand. Toe-tapping patrons can even aim to get rid of their two left feet with a number of dancing workshops running throughout the event.
