The perpetual battle between golfer and hole can be drawn out over a full round on the 6330 yard course as players work to master the orb and get close to par. The course states its intentions immediately with the first hole demanding firm attention if players are to make the par three . A broad green is reward for an accurate tee shot that avoids the out of bounds section along the right of the fairway. Towards the end of the back nine is a par four at the 14th, where big hitters can let loose off the tee. Provided they find the fairway and avoid the deep rough to the left and right, they may feel a thrill of anticipation at a potential birdie, with a straight approach on to an open green .
